Cara L. Decker is an experienced paralegal in various areas of law, with a primary focus on real estate and trusts and estates.  She has a firm knowledge of complex closings and strong knowledge of title abstracting with an emphasis on title commitments and policies, review of corporate organizational documents, preparation of loan documentation, preparation of closing documentation, and managing multiple high-priority closings.

After graduating from Montclair State University with a B.A. degree in Justice Studies and a Concentration in International Justice Studies, Ms. Decker’s path to the legal industry followed. Prior to becoming a paralegal, Ms. Decker worked as an intern for the NJ State Police Trafficking North Unit and the Public Defender’s Office in Bergen County which sculpted her knowledge of distinct aspects of the law.

Before joining the firm, Ms. Decker held positions with respected law firms, most recently with Landel, Bernstein & Kalosieh, LLP where she became experienced in Trusts and Estates including estate planning and estate administration, corporate formation, tax, and real estate law.

Outside the office, Ms. Decker can be found in public libraries satiating her desire to read, in the fitness center exercising, and spending time with her family.
